That is why China need to be more aggressive while at the same time play its card right. Like I previously said, Chinese tech giants like tencent, baidu and alibaba are such a disappointment. Tencent and Baidu especially, they left the developing world market to be conquered by Whatsapp and Google. They should have been more aggressive in expanding. Now the yanks are having a freedom to conduct powerful propaganda with their control of the tech in developing world. If they don't want to compete with the Americans, the least they could do is to support local tech companies in developing world so that American tech won't dominate so much in those countries. Huawei wouldn't be in today predicament if the American tech giant didn't dominate so much. Now tiktok is fighting the battle alone. Chinese companies should ally themselves with global south companies, help them develop so they can curtail American tech dominant. Invest and give them technical aid.
