many Chinese families here had family in neighboring, bigger countries such as Venezuela and even Dominican Republic a long time ago. When the refinery came to Aruba it made Aruba a really good place to make lots of money. Many came to Aruba where they would be making much more money compared to in Venezuela and what not. After some chinese families where settled they kept bringing friends and people they know, and thats why they kept growing so fast and now there are so many.
