In memory of the countless men from the Taishan (Hoisan) region of southern China that came to the United States in the late 1800's to help build the Transcontinental Railroad. This monument was erected on 5/01/2020 in King Hill, Idaho at a spot where a Chinese railroad worker is buried in an unmarked grave as a result of a dynamite explosion sometime in the 1880's. His sacrifice, hard work and contribution in helping build America's infrastructure will never go unnoticed.
