Chinese premier met with Jap. prime minsiter

Li Peng said, the problem of chemical weapons abondoned in China by Jap. army
has existed for over half a century, the Chinese people hope that the Jap.
government take an atitude that is responsible to history, 
and solve the problem as soon as possible.

Li Peng urged Japan not to harm the national interests of other nations
in areas of territorial dispute. Since China and Japan have dispute over
certain territories, Japan should be cautious in making laws regarding those
areas.

Li appraised the pledge of Japan to stick to the one-China policy and 
maintain only nongovernmental realtionships with Taiwan.
